God Jul
As a breaker of traditions for many years I finally started missing the food and get together with family around this time of year. I rarely buy any gifts and for me it has absolutely nothing to do with Christianity. We have a Christmas tree this year, but that’s also something that has other roots. As said in another post – most of what we celebrate has other origins.
This year I’m bringing a bit of Sweden here to Germany with a starter containing a few pieces of the food we usually have on our Julbord (a form of Smörgåsbord). No snow yet, but there should come some during the nearest days finally so hopefully before New Year.
